Actuators - basic parameters and selection
Our store offers a wide range of electric linear actuators manufactured by Elektrobim. These types of actuators are used to move gates in the automatic system. The actuators are characterized by three key parameters, which must be selected for a specific application. The most important parameter is the length over which the actuator extends. The stroke of the actuator has to be selected according to the mechanical structure of the door leaf and the place where the actuator is attached. The second parameter is the force of the element - this parameter, specified in Newtons, tells you how hard the actuator will push/pull the door. The heavier the door, the stronger the actuator should be. The third parameter is the power supply voltage of the actuator - Elektrobim manufactures actuators with nominal voltage of 12 V and 24 V.
Door controller with a radio receiver
In Botland catalog there are gate controllers made by Elektrobim. These modules are responsible for the proper control of the actuator that opens and closes the gate. Most often these elements are controlled with radio remote controls. These systems usually use 433 MHz band for communication. The module is connected to, among others, limiters (electronic elements informing the system that the gate has reached the extreme position), warning lights or optical protections.
