The kit consists of a CoreS3 controller using the ESP32-S3 chip and a Gateway H2 module with an ESP32-H2 microcontroller operating as an OpenThread RCP (Radio Co-Processor). This allows the module to function as a powerful Thread border router, integrating IEEE 802.15.4 networks with WiFi and Ethernet infrastructure. The CoreS3 Thread BR offers extensive multimedia and sensor features, including a 320 x 240 px IPS touchscreen, a 0.3 MPx camera, microphones, a Hi-Fi speaker, a proximity sensor, a real-time clock, and a 9-axis IMU .
