The INDX utilizes an advanced tool-changing system that allows for up to eight independent nozzles . Each tool has its own material path, preventing filament mixing and color contamination. while printing. You can simultaneously use different materials, such as PLA, PETG, TPU, PVA, and carbon fiber composites. An additional advantage is the ability to use different nozzle diameters from 0.25 mm to 1 mm within a single project. This allows you to combine high-quality details with the rapid printing of larger components.
INDX uses independent tool technology, which allows each nozzle to have its own material path.
One of the biggest advantages of the INDX system is the almost complete elimination of waste generated during filament changes.
No more filament waste when printing multi-materials
Unlike traditional single-nozzle systems, the INDX eliminates the need for cleaning towers or the generation of large amounts of waste. Only about 13 mg of plastic is removed per tool change . This keeps operating costs low, even with complex multi-color prints. The absence of cleaning blocks also means more efficient use of the printer's workspace . The Advanced Nozzle Wiper system further ensures nozzle cleanliness and high-quality print surfaces.
Innovative technologies used in the INDX system
The heart of the system is the active Smart Head , equipped with a contactless induction coil responsible for rapid nozzle heating. Passive tools contain no electronics, making them simpler, more reliable, and less expensive to upgrade. The Dynamic Dual Drive mechanism automatically adjusts the filament pressure to the type of material being used . Nozzle temperature is monitored wirelessly, reducing the number of cables and consumables. This is complemented by a precise tool calibration system operating outside the printer's workspace.
Dynamic Extruder DX automatically adjusts the filament pressure to suit the material type, ensuring smooth switching between flexible and rigid filaments without manual adjustment.

EasyPrint works from a web browser, smartphone, or tablet, making project preparation possible virtually anywhere. Advanced users can take advantage of the full capabilities of PrusaSlicer, available for Windows, macOS, and Linux. The software automatically manages tool changes and optimizes the printing process.
