The built-in DS3231SN ensures high-accuracy timing thanks to temperature compensation, which is particularly important in systems operating without internet access. The CH32V003 chip implements a watchdog function, monitoring the Raspberry Pi's operation and automatically resetting it if there is no response within a specified time. The supervisory time can be configured from 1 s to 65,535 s.
