The shield combines the functions of a real-time clock (RTC) with a hardware system supervisor and is designed for use with Raspberry Pi boards . The built-in DS3231SN ensures high-accuracy timing thanks to temperature compensation, which is particularly important in systems operating without internet access. The CH32V003 chip implements a watchdog function, monitoring the Raspberry Pi's operation and automatically resetting it if there is no response within a specified time. The supervisory time can be configured from 1 s to 65,535 s.
