Product description: SenseCAP S700 V2 7in1 - sensor for building a weather station - Seeedstudio 101991022
SenseCAP S5700 V2 7in1 from Seeedstudio is a compact sensor for building a weather station that allows you to determine environmental conditions such as air temperature , relative humidity , barometric pressure , light intensity, rainfall intensity (optical sensor), as well as wind speed and direction (determined by the method ultrasonic ). Thanks to its special design, it can be used in industrial applications - the module has an IP66 protection level. It is waterproof and dustproof, and can also operate in environments with temperatures ranging from -40°C to 85° C, making it an ideal solution for projects carried out in difficult conditions.
Before starting to work with SenseCAP S700 V2 7in1, also check the user guide prepared by the manufacturer.

Application of SenseCAP ONE.
Special features of the sensor
- Measurement of up to 7 parameters : one module allows you to measure values such as air temperature, relative humidity, barometric pressure, light intensity, rainfall intensity, wind speed and direction.
- Application at industrial level: operating temperature range from -40°C to 85° C, IP66 protection level ensuring waterproof and dustproof, enable the sensor to be used in outdoor applications in sectors such as smart agriculture, smart city, renewable energy or broadly understood transport.
- Output interface : RS485 (MODBUS-RTU) / SDI-12 communication protocol allows cooperation with any data recorder supporting this protocol.
- Advanced components included in the set : 3 m cable intended for pole mounting; radiation shields for accurate measurement of surroundings; built-in ultrasonic sensors in the dome to measure wind speed and direction (without moving parts that could affect the precision of measurements).
SenseCAP ONE can also be used with SenseCAP Sensor Hub 4G Data Logger and SenseCAP S2100, which can be used as data loggers.
Modern technologies
Sensors for measuring wind speed and direction use innovative technology based on ultrasound (instead of a traditional mechanical anemometer). Reducing the number of moving parts makes the sensor less susceptible to breakage, making it easier to maintain. This will increase its resistance and measurement precision.
SenseCAP ONE sensors
The SenseCAP ONE series of weather sensors are compact devices that users call "all-in-one". They include a wide range of sensors that enable monitoring as many as 10 key weather parameters - air temperature, air humidity, atmospheric pressure, light intensity, wind speed and direction, precipitation, PM 2.5 and PM 10 concentration and CO2 level . This comprehensive solution allows for highly precise tracking of atmospheric conditions in one compact device (the ability to measure individual values depends on the selected sensor model).

Reliability tests performed before the product is released to the market.
High reliability of SenseCAP sensors
Seeedstudio products are characterized by high quality and reliability , which are confirmed by numerous tests carried out at the production stage. Before the modules are finally released from the factory, the manufacturer conducts a series of tests to ensure that the modules will function perfectly in extreme conditions throughout their entire life cycle. The SenseCAP ONE series has passed 6 reliability tests , which include:
- Wind tunnel - measurement of wind direction and speed in an artificially changing environment,
- High and low temperature test - determines operation in extremely unfavorable temperature conditions,
- Structural test - determines whether the collected values from multiple devices are consistent and highly precise,
- Three-axis vibration test (xyz) - assesses the impact of vibration on sensor measurements,
- Waterproofness and tightness test - checking whether the module meets the requirements for operation in a difficult environment,
- R&D and production test - to check the performance of multiple devices in factory conditions.
