A platform that allows you to create a remote controlled Waveshare PicoGo robot. A Raspberry Pi Pico microcontroller module is required for proper operation of the robot, which also allows you to learn programming in micro Python. The robot platform is equipped with a two-wheel drive, a distance and line tracking sensor and a small LCD display. A Bluetooth communication module and an IR receiver enable remote control of the robot. The whole is powered by two power Li-Ion batteries (not included).
The PicoGo robot platform requires the Raspberry Pi Pico module to function properly, which can be purchased separately.

The PicoGo robot platform is powered by two 14500 Li-Ion batteries (not included), with the ability to run while charging. It is equipped with a battery protection system against over-discharge and over-charging, as well as over-current, short-circuit and reverse polarity protection, ensuring longer battery life. Additionally, it has a voltage and charge monitor.
PicoGo robot functionality
- Obstacle avoidance - equipped with an IR reflection sensor to help avoid obstacles.
- Line tracking - 5 reflective sensors placed under the platform, can detect a black line for the robot to follow. The PID algorithm improves the stability of the robot's movement.
- Ultrasonic sensor -ultrasonic signal is faster and easier to calculate, suitable for real-time robot control and obstacle avoidance.
- Object tracking - using ultrasonic or IR sensor, the robot is able to detect objects and follow them.
- Infrared remote control - with the IR receiver built into the robot, it is possible to control the robot remotely using the IR remote control.
- Bluetooth control - a Bluetooth module has been built into the robot board, which enables remote control of the robot using a mobile device application.
