Power for the reBot arm without modifications
The 24 V / 14.6 A power supply for the reBot Arm B601-DM is an industrial 350 W MEAN WELL switching supply with a mains socket, switch and XT60 output. You plug the included XT60 - XT30U cable straight into the power socket of the reBot Arm B601-DM, which is sold without a power supply.
The power supply has protection against short circuit, overload, overvoltage and overheating, and the fan switches on only above 50 °C. The kit includes three detachable power cords: EU, US and CN. You will find the same power supply in the reBot Arm B601-DM kit with Jetson Orin.

The manufacturer provides the instructions and the parts list for the enclosure of this power supply in the reBot Arm project repository, just like the files for the arm itself. Building the enclosure yourself is recommended only for people with experience in assembling power supplies.
Frequently asked questions
Does the robot arm come with a power supply in the box?
The standalone reBot Arm B601-DM is sold without a power supply, so you need this kit to run it. The power supply is already included with the version of the arm with a Jetson Orin computer.
What should I set before switching the power supply on?
Set the input voltage switch on the side of the power supply to 230 V if you connect it to a 220-240 V mains supply. For a 110 V mains, choose the 115 V position.
How does the temperature-controlled fan in the power supply work?
The fan is temperature-controlled: it switches on when the temperature exceeds 50 °C and switches off when it drops to 40 °C, so the power supply runs quietly under a light load.
