Product description: Arduino UNO Media Carrier - ASX00083
The Arduino UNO Media Carrier shield is designed to quickly expand the UNO Q and VENTUNO Q with high-quality video and audio support. The module connects to the base board via JMEDIA and JMISC connectors, which, thanks to their passthrough design, allow for stacking modules without blocking the main unit's pins. It includes two 22-pin 4-lane MIPI CSI camera connectors, one 22-pin 4-lane MIPI DSI display connector, and three 3.5mm jacks . This solution is ideal for building AI systems, HMI devices, interactive installations, and product prototypes using video and audio analytics.

Arduino UNO Media Carrier - ASX00083.

Thanks to the MIPI CSI and MIPI DSI connectors, the overlay enables the construction of vision systems with two cameras and the direct connection of touch displays.
Main features of the Arduino UNO Media Carrier
- Compatibility with Arduino UNO Q and VENTUNO Q : the module has been designed specifically to work with these boards
- 2 x MIPI CSI 22-pin 4-lane connectors : enable the connection of two cameras and the implementation of stereo vision projects, object tracking and image analysis from multiple perspectives
- 1 x 22-pin 4-lane MIPI DSI connector : allows you to connect a compatible display and create visual interfaces without additional adapters
- 3 x 3.5mm audio jacks : MIC-IN / Headphones Out, Line Out and Ear Out available
- Passthrough design : all pins remain accessible for further expansion of the system with additional modules and peripherals
- Support for popular accessories : the module works with selected Raspberry Pi-compatible cameras and MIPI DSI displays
- Prototyping friendly : allows you to quickly go from concept to testing without designing your own PCB
- Support for AI and edge computing applications : suitable for building smart kiosks, vision systems, educational devices and interactive installations
Arduino UNO Media Carrier Applications
The Arduino UNO Media Carrier is ideal for applications requiring simultaneous display and audio control . The module can be used to build object recognition systems, image analysis stations, intelligent advertising displays , and interactive museum exhibits. It is also a good choice for education, research laboratories, and rapid prototyping of AI-based multimedia devices. In robotics, the carrier can support dual-camera systems for depth mapping and navigation. In automation, it facilitates the creation of quality inspection, object identification, and monitoring systems. In consumer projects, it can serve as a basis for smart mirrors, self-service kiosks, voice devices, and vision system prototypes.
The Arduino UNO Media Carrier easily adds high-quality video and audio support to the Arduino UNO Q and VENTUNO Q boards.
