Product description: BleBox windSensor Pro - WiFi wind speed sensor
The BleBox windSensor Pro sensor allows you to measure the instantaneous, maximum and average wind speed from 0.5 m/s to 30 m/s (from 1.8 km/h to 108 km/h). Measurement data are available in the dedicated wBox application, which can also be conveniently exported. BleBox windSensor Pro can be connected to your home WiFi network to read data from anywhere in the world. In the application, you can also create automation that will automatically open or close roller blinds, awnings or blinds in strong winds. The wBox application allows you to set the unit in m/s, km/h and in knots . The sensor can be integrated into the Home Assistant home automation system.

Charts and historical data
In the dedicated wBox application, it is possible to view graphs and historical data from the windSensor Pro sensor, e.g. are data such as:
- average wind speed
- maximum wind speed (in gusts)
BleBox windSensor Pro will also work as a measuring station before setting up a wind farm. It will make it possible to check whether there are winds above 5 m/s (and for how many days a year) so that the wind farm has a raison d'être. For more advanced users, it is possible to export measurement data to a file.
Notifications, alerts and automations
The BleBox windSensor Pro wind sensor allows you to set notifications / warnings to mobile devices that will be sent in the event of e.g. strong winds:
- If the average wind speed is greater than 40 km/h, send a notification
- If there is a wind (gust) stronger than 70 km/h, send a notification
windSensor Pro allows you to wirelessly send control commands to up to 30 other BleBox devices. In combination with the BleBox shutterBox controller, it will be possible to automatically control blinds, roller blinds, windows or awnings at home. In this way, you will protect the slats of the blinds against damage, and the strong wind will not blow up and tear out the blinds or awnings.

Weatherproof housing and external antenna
The windSensor Pro sensor has been enclosed in a sealed housing with increased resistance to weather conditions, it perfectly copes with rain or snow. In addition, it is equipped with an external antenna that increases the WiFi range. The WiFi antenna socket also allows you to replace the antenna with a directional antenna, which allows you to install the sensor in remote places from the router / AP, where there is a weak or insufficient WiFi signal.
