Mean Well RS-25-12 is a compact 12 V enclosed power supply with an output current of up to 2.1 A and a power of 25.2 W in a metal case measuring 78 x 51 x 28 mm. It fits into small devices, control panels and electronics enclosures.
The manufacturer uses electrolytic capacitors rated for up to 105 °C, which extends their service life in a warm enclosure. The power supply works from mains of 88 V to 264 V AC, withstands a surge of up to 300 V AC for 5 seconds, and you can set the output voltage from 10.8 V to 13.2 V.

Capacitors for hot conditions
In the RS-25 series, Mean Well uses only electrolytic capacitors rated for up to 105 °C. They are what most often determines the lifespan of a switching power supply, because they lose capacitance with age, and high temperature speeds up this process.

Frequently asked questions
Can I power a Raspberry Pi or Arduino with it?
Not directly, because it provides 12 V. For 5 V boards, use a step-down converter or choose the 5 V version of this power supply.
How do I adjust the output voltage?
With the potentiometer marked +V ADJ near the terminals you can set the voltage from 10.8 V to 13.2 V.
Does the power supply have an operation indicator?
Yes, an LED near the terminals lights up when the power supply is working.
