The SLZB-06-U is an advanced ZigBee coordinator designed for building efficient and reliable home automation networks. It utilizes the proven Texas Instruments CC2652P chip for ZigBee 3.0 communication and an ESP32 microcontroller to manage network connections and device configuration. Support for Ethernet with PoE, Wi-Fi, and USB allows you to freely choose the coordinator's installation method and location, regardless of the Home Assistant server's location. Optoelectronic isolation allows simultaneous USB and Ethernet connections without interference. The gateway is factory-configured and ready to work immediately after connection. It supports ZigBee2MQTT, ZHA , and the emerging Matter over Thread standard, enabling the integration of devices from multiple manufacturers within a single smart home ecosystem. Thanks to its efficient design and the ability to be mounted in an optimal location, the SLZB-06-U improves the range and stability of ZigBee communication, even in complex installations.
SLZB-06U is a newer version of SLZB-06 with support for USB passthrough via Ethernet , i.e. the ability to share USB devices connected to the adapter in the network, while maintaining the same ZigBee CC2652P chip.
The SLZB-06U, aside from USB passthrough support, is identical to the SLZB-06. Currently, all available SLZB adapter models are manufactured with U.

The SLZB-06-U offers exceptional communication flexibility thanks to its support for three independent connection interfaces. It can operate as a ZigBee coordinator connected to a server via Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or USB , allowing for customization of installation to suit a specific environment. IEEE802.3af -compliant PoE support enables simultaneous data and power transmission over a single network cable. This allows the coordinator to be installed in a location that provides the best ZigBee network coverage, regardless of the Home Assistant server's location. The use of a 20 dB RF amplifier and a 5 dB antenna further improves communication quality with end devices.
SMLIGHT SLZB-06-U is used to control ZigBee devices using the Home Assistant and Zigbee2MQTT or ZHA applications.
SLZB-06-U offers full support for ZigBee 3.0 and Matter-over-Thread protocols.
