The M5Stack Chain PIR is an input module used to detect motion and human activity based on changes in infrared radiation. It utilizes the AS312 pyroelectric sensor , offering a detection range of up to 2.4 m and a detection angle of -60° to 60° . An integrated programmable WS2812C RGB LED can additionally provide information about device status or motion detection. Data processing is handled by an STM32G031G8U6 microcontroller , and communication with the controller is via UART at 115,200 bps. Two HY2.0-4P ports allow the module to be connected to other M5Stack Chain devices.
