Product description: Qwiic LED Stick - LED strip APA102C - 10 diodes - SparkFun COM-18354
Qwiic LED Stick manufactured by SparkFun is a LED strip equipped with 10 LEDs. The LEDs placed on the board are APA102C addressable LEDs controlled by built-in ATTiny85 microcontroller. Dimensions of the strip are 91,5 x 25,4 mm. The module was designed to realize long light chains (you can connect as many as 10 Qwiic LED Stick pieces together) using a single bus.
Product is compatible with Raspberry Pi and Arduino!
A detailed user guide is available on the manufacturer's website. It contains detailed description of all pins, wiring diagram and sample program code.
Leads description of Qwiic LED Stick
The module can be connected in two ways - with Qwiic connectors placed on both sides of the board or with solder fields with described leads. If you choose the second option, you should solder the goldpin strip yourself (not included) and connect it according to the following relations
- GND - system ground
- 3.3V - power supply 3.3V
- SDA - I2C interface data line
- SCL - I2C interface clock line
- VIN - power supply from 3.3 V to 5 V
