It supports stereo speakers with a power of 1 W per channel and has an interface through which it is possible to connect a microphone. The module can also work as a stereo ADC and DAC audio converter. SparkFun Audio Codec Breakout is equipped with a number of useful features, including: Advanced on-chip digital signal processing for automatic level control (ALC), programmable signal gain (PGA), attenuation function and much more.
