Product description: NeoKey - key matrix for switches - NeoPixels 1x4 - I2C - STEMMA QT / Qwiic - Adafruit 4980
NeoKey- key matrix for switches -76.5 x 21.5 x 4.6 mm boardmanufactured byAdafruit. It has space forfour buttons, including the Kailh socket. Thanks to them, you can connect any MX compatible switch without having to solder it. The manufacturer also placedfourLEDson the board, which illuminate the attached buttons. NeoKey from Adafruit uses theI2Cbus to communicate with the controller module (e.g. with Arduino or Raspberry Pi). On the edge of the board, on two sides,STEMMA QT /Qwiicconnectors are also mounted, which allow for a convenient connection that does not require soldering. The set consists of a matrix and a goldpin strip - switches, key caps and the controller module must be purchased separately.
A detailed user guide is available on the manufacturer's website, which makes it much easier to start working with the module. The manufacturer also provides dedicated libraries - for theArduino IDEand forCircuitPython / Python.
The board has terminals in the form of solder pads and a STEMMA QT / Qwiic connector.
