The Aqara T1 SSM-U01 allows you to add Smart Home functionality to a traditional switch or socket without changing its appearance. The module is mounted in a junction box and connected to the neutral wire . It allows you to remotely turn the circuit on and off, create schedules, and automate it with other Aqara devices, such as motion or door sensors . Built-in energy measurement allows you to monitor the connected device's consumption. The relay supports ZigBee 3.0, a memory function after a power outage, and overheating and overload protection. Its compact dimensions of 42.9 x 40 x 19.9 mm facilitate installation behind an existing switch or socket.

Stable ZigBee 3.0 communication in the Smart Home system
The Aqara SSM-U01 uses the ZigBee 3.0 protocol based on the IEEE 802.15.4 standard, allowing it to communicate with a compatible gateway and other home automation system components. Transmission occurs in the 2.4 GHz band, and the manufacturer's declared effective communication range is up to 30 m indoors - the actual range depends on, among other things, the building's construction and the presence of interference sources. The module does not communicate directly via Wi-Fi, so remote control and automation are required. A compatible ZigBee 3.0 gateway is required. Connecting to the Aqara central unit allows you to integrate the relay with sensors, switches, and other devices, creating extensive smart home scenarios.
The energy measurement function is useful when monitoring the power consumption of home appliances and creating automations that depend on their operation.
