Support for standard network protocols (MQTT, HTTP/S, TCP/UDP) allows for easy connection to SCADA systems, IoT platforms, and custom applications without the need for additional bridges or converters.
Integration, management and modern applications
The Milesight UG56 supports DeviceHub and Milesight IoT Cloud platforms, enabling remote monitoring of the gateway's status and firmware updates (FUOTA). Support for BACnet and Modbus allows data from wireless sensors to be transmitted in real time to building automation systems (BMS). Developers can use the Python SDK and Node‑RED to create custom rules, integrations, and automation without having to write low‑level code.
