Supported operating modes

  • Single channel (no synchronization): four cameras work sequentially, capturing images one by one. Each camera works with full resolution.
  • Dual-channel (Synchronized): Two cameras combined into 1 full-resolution frame, working synchronously. 1/2 resolution for each camera.
  • Four-channel (Synchronized): 4 cameras combined into 1 full-resolution frame, working synchronously. 1/2 resolution for each camera.

Additional information

  • The four 64 MPx cameras included in the kit are designed exclusively for the Camarray Hat and can only be used with this cap. They will not work if they are connected directly to the Raspberry Pi.
  • Arducam 64 MPx cameras can get maximum resolution and video streaming only on RPI 4B and RPI CM4 platforms. Camera resolution and video streaming will be limited on other Raspberry Pi platforms. For RPI 2/3 / CM3 / Zero / Zero 2W, the resolution is 16 MPx.
