The Aqara W100 is a powerful climate sensor designed to monitor indoor temperature and humidity . The large 3.4" LCD screen provides easy-to-read current parameters, and the measurement accuracy is ±0.2°C for temperature and ±2% RH for humidity. The device can operate in Thread or ZigBee mode, allowing you to tailor the communication method to your smart home system. Three buttons supporting single, double, and long presses allow you to configure up to 9 actions . In ZigBee mode, the sensor also offers additional capabilities within the Aqara ecosystem, including cooperation with external sensors and HVAC devices.

The sensor supports a wide operating temperature range (-20°C to 60°C) and humidity range (0% to 98%, non-condensing).

ZigBee, Thread, and Aqara W100 Sensor Compatibility
The Aqara W100 supports two communication protocols – Thread and ZigBee , allowing you to tailor your integration to your smart home system. Thread is the default mode and allows connection to compatible Matter controllers, while ZigBee mode is primarily designed for use with the Aqara Gateway and provides access to additional Aqara Home features. Depending on the selected mode, the device can work with popular ecosystems such as Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, Google Home, SmartThings, and Home Assistant . The sensor also supports Bluetooth, which is used for setup and connection. Selecting the appropriate mode allows you to choose between direct Matter integration via Thread or the extended features available in the Aqara environment via ZigBee.
The sensor can be placed on a desk thanks to the included stand.
Aqara W100 supports ZigBee and Thread protocols and is compatible with Matter.
