Description
Module from Velleman fully compatible with Arduino Uno R3. This means that it can be programmed through the Arduino IDE using available libraries. TheArduino Shields will also collaborate with this module.
The Board contains an ATmega328 microcontroller, it is equipped with 14 digital I/o, 6 of which can be used as PWM outputs (e.g. for motor control) and 6 as analog inputs. The system works with the clock signal with the frequency of 16 MHz. The module also has also a USB connector, DC power socket, RESET button, and pins used to connect the AVR programmer.
Power
The module can be powered via the USB cable and the external device, for example, the AC power adapter, the battery or the rechargeable battery. Switching power sources is automatic. The power supply is connected to a standard DC slot. Rechargeable battery or other source is connected to the pins of the POWER connector.
Programming
Creating and installing the software is allowed by the free environment of the Arduino IDE. Implemented bootloader allows you to send the program directly via USB cable. ISCP connector enables connection of an external AVR programmer. A detailed description can be found in the documentation and tutorial.
