Master module ideal for modular projects
Arduino compatible Lotus V1.1 board by Seeedstudio is a perfect proof of how modular approach to device development and testing dominates modern electronics.
Although the size and basic design of this board is reminiscent of popular Arduino Uno - it is based on the same ATMega328 processor and has the same PCB shape and layout of expansion connectors - Seeedstudio's proposal contains also 12 four-pin Grove standard connectors, allowing to connect various external modules.
Additional equipment
Lotus V1.1 - compatible with Arduino - Seeedstudio 102010168 contains up to five LEDs - two indicating communication status via built-in USB-UART converter, one power LED, RESET line status indicator and additional LED connected to PB5 line of microcontroller and dedicated to any user programming.
On the board there is of course built-in 3.3V regulator and hardware RESET button, known from the basic version offered by the Italian manufacturer. Clear descriptions of all lines and connectors perfectly facilitate work with the module and reduce the risk of errors.
