Product description: Adafruit Metro M4 Express AirLift (WiFi) compatible with CircuitPython and Arduino
The Metro M4 is fully compatible with the popular Arduino Uno. This means that it can be programmed using Arduino IDE environment environment using available libraries. Overlays, so called. Arduino Shield will also work with Adafruit module. In comparison to Adafruit Metro M4, this model was extended by additional WiFi module.

In order to run Metro M4, you need to connect the chip with your computer using a microUSB cable. Then, in Arduino IDE environment, install Adafruit boards and select Adafruit Metro M4 Express AirLift board. |
Power supply
The module can be powered via a microUSB cable and an external device such as an AC adapter, battery or rechargeable battery. Switching the power source is done automatically. Power supply is connected to a standard DC socket with an additional switch right next to it. Battery or other source is connected to pins of POWER connector.

Programming
Creation and installation of software enables free environment provided by manufacturer. Implemented bootloader allows to upload software directly via microUSB cable. ISCP connector allows you to connect an external AVR programmer.
