The BleBox energyMeter DIN is a modern DIN rail-mounted electricity meter equipped with Wi-Fi communication and bidirectional energy measurement . The device supports single-phase and three-phase installations, enabling simultaneous measurement of energy consumed and exported to the grid. This makes it ideal for photovoltaic installations, EV charging systems, heat pumps, and commercial buildings. The set includes three 50A CT current transformers for contactless current measurement. The energyMeter DIN monitors voltage, current, frequency, and active, reactive, and apparent power for each phase separately . The wBox app allows you to analyze historical data for up to 12 months and export it to CSV or XLSX files. The device is compatible with the Home Assistant system and offers an open API for integration with building automation systems.

Mounting the energy meter on a DIN rail
The BleBox energyMeter DIN is designed for convenient installation in electrical distribution boards on a standard 35 mm DIN rail . Its compact housing, measuring just one DIN module wide, allows for easy integration into existing electrical installations. The set includes three CT current transformers (CTs) for quick, non-contact current measurement without the need to interfere with power cables. The device can be used in both single-phase and three-phase systems. The manufacturer recommends maintaining a minimum distance of 1 cm between DIN modules to ensure adequate ventilation. Installation should only be performed by persons with appropriate electrical qualifications.
DIN rail mounting enables quick and convenient connection of current transformers.
The BleBox WiFi meter offers the ability to communicate directly via a WiFi network, locally and remotely, thanks to the BleBox cloud.

The energyMeter DIN meter offers three communication modes: direct connection via your own Wi-Fi network, operation within a local network, and remote access via the BleBox cloud . Thanks to encrypted transmission, you can monitor system parameters from anywhere in the world using the wBox app, available for Android, iOS, and macOS . The device supports the creation of home automation scenarios and integration with other BleBox controllers . Based on voltage, power, or energy balance, it can automatically control energy consumers such as DHW heaters, EV chargers, or heat pumps. An open API also enables integration with external Smart Home systems and the Home Assistant platform.
