Polol's DC motor. It operates with 24 V, draws up to 100 mA of current during normal operation and up to 3000 mA when the shaft is stopped. Its speed is 200 rpm and its torque is 23 kg*cm. The motor is equipped with a CPR 64 quadrature encoder, which generates 64 pulses per motor shaft revolution.

CPR 64 encoder
The quadrature encoder allows the detection of pulses on a rotating magnetic disk at the back of the motor, thanks to the Hall effect. It allows to measure with a resolution of 64 pulses per revolution of the motor shaft, and after translation, it is the right amount more.
