Polol's DC motor. It operates with24 V, draws up to 100 mA of current during normal operation and up to 3000 mA when the shaft is stopped. Its speed is200 rpmand its torque is23 kg*cm. The motor is equipped with aCPR 64quadrature encoder, which generates 64 pulses per revolution of the motor shaft, it is covered with a black casing to protect it from external conditions.
By means of an additionalhub, it is possible to mount wheels on the motor shaft.

CPR 64 encoder
The quadrature encoder allows the detection of pulses on a rotating magnetic disk at the back of the motor, thanks to the Hall effect. It allows to measure with a resolution of 64 pulses per revolution of the motor shaft, and after translation, it is the right amount more.
