Description
Intel Edisonis a computing platform based on a powerful dual-core Intel Atom processor, equipped with WiFi, Bluetooth and a 70-pin connector.
The kit includes 4 interface boards -Intel Edison platformcan be purchased separately.
The set includes four boards for connecting communication interfaces to the Intel Edison module.
- I2C Block- a module with a voltage converter, allowing to connect devices on the I2C bus to the Intel Edison platform.
- PWM Block- a board equipped with eight PWM channels, controlled via the IC bus. Built-in PCA9685 controller has an independent clock with 50 Hz and 12 bit resolution, which allows to control e.g.model servo.
- ADC Block- module with ADS1015 delta-sigma analog-digital converter with 12 bits resolution. It communicates through the I2C bus. Sampling speed is maximum 2.2 kHz, which unfortunately is not enough to capture the sound, but allows you to read data from different types of analog sensors.
- H-Bridge Block- a two-channeldirect current motorcontroller.It enables control of motors supplied with voltage from 2.7 V to 15 V, and its maximum current capacity is 1 A.
