The board has an embedded STM32H743XI microcontroller, a 5 Mpx OV5640 thermal imaging camera module, a slot to support any FLIR Lepton, and a VL53L0X laser rangefinder to help draw a thermal image on a color image using appropriate offset/scaling. The module is based on OpenMV Cam H7 Plus from OpenMV. It is programmed with OpenMV IDE, supports TensorFlow, and can handle neural networks, object tracking or person detection.

PureThermal OpenMV was developed by GetLab and OpenMV, whose idea was to create a module equipped with a professional thermal imaging camera. The board has an embedded STM32H743XI microcontroller, a 5 Mpx OV5640 camera module, a slot to support any FLIR Lepton, and a VL53L0X laser rangefinder to help draw the thermal image on the color image using the appropriate offset/scaling. The module is based on OpenMV Cam H7 Plus from OpenMV. It is programmed using the OpenMV IDE, supports TensorFlow, and can handle neural networks, object tracking or person detection.
