The M5Stack Unit ChainBus is a universal communication module designed for building distributed systems based on the M5Stack ecosystem. The STM32G031G8U6 microcontroller is responsible for protocol conversion and communication between devices using the UART ChainBus . The module allows you to connect multiple devices in a single communication chain , while also providing support for additional interfaces such as I2C, GPIO inputs and outputs, an ADC, and NVIC interrupts . The built-in firmware enables automatic device detection, reading unique UIDs , checking software versions, and monitoring correct operation via the heartbeat mechanism. Compatibility with UiFlow2 and the Arduino IDE makes integration with existing projects quick and easy, requiring minimal configuration.
