COM.GSMoverlay is an extension dedicated toCoreseries modules, enabling communication via GSM network. COM.GSM is a device equipped withSIM800Ccommunication module. It works on GSM / GPRS frequencies:850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz. It allows to sendSMS messagesand data while maintaining low energy consumption. The overlay is equipped with a DC input and can be powered by a5or12 Vpower supply. The module uses aUARTinterface for communication. The device is equipped with amicroSIMcard slot as well asa DIP switchfor configuringTXandRXpins. A2.5 dBiSMAantenna is also included.
