What is flux?
Fluxes play a key role in the soldering process of electronic circuits, enabling reliable connections between components and pads on a printed circuit board. There are several classes of fluxes, with different properties and applications. Their main function is to remove oxides from the surface of electronic components and pads, including soldering tips. High temperature and the presence of oxygen during soldering can generate oxides, and fluxes effectively eliminate this problem.
