Description
Executive module with MOSFET-type transistor with N-channel to control devices with higher current consumption than permitted by the control system, e.g.Raspberry Piminicomputer. The used IRFR4105Z offers a supply voltage from 5 V to 12 V for current consumption up to 2 A.
Programmable control boards often have limitations related to voltage and maximum operating current. This results in the impossibility of direct connection of devices with higher power consumption. e.g. when we want to connect a LED tape powered by +12 V pins to Arduino,we cannot do it directly, due to the voltage and current limitation of the microcontroller. In this case, the control is done using executive systems with power transistor.
Connection
Connect the SIG (IN) control signal (from +4 V to +5 V ), the voltage you want to control to the VCC or VIN inputs (up to +12V) and GND ground to the module. Detailed description can be found inthe user guide.
Attention! Standard configuration is a shorted jumper Z1. This means that the VCC and VIN outputs are connected to each other. The supply voltage to be connected to the module output must be connected to the VCC or VIN output. |
