Heat shrinkablequickconnector with fusedtin. It has a length of40mm and internal diameter of8 mm,it has a ring with tin embedded in the tube. It is designed to connect wires with cross-section from 4 to 6 mm2. Heat the tube to above80°C.The tin will start to melt and permanently connect the wires together. Inside the quick connector is an extra layer of glue that protects the wires from moisture. No more insulation is needed for the wires.
The product is sold in a pack of 5 pieces.
Step by step instructions how to use the quick-connector correctly
- Remove the insulation from the ends of the two wires.
- Run one of the wires through the quick-connector.
- Connect the two wires together and place the tin strip in the center of the quick disconnect.
- Weld the heat shrink tubing.
