Product description: Grove - DC sensor ACS70331 - 5A
Grove'shigh-precision DC/AC± 5 Asensorcan measure both direct and alternatingcurrentup to 5 A basedon theACS70331. It is based on giant magnetoresistive technology (GMR), which is 25 times more sensitivethantraditional Hall sensors. The sensor measures current with a basic accuracy of 800 mV/A.
Grove - ± 5 A DC/AC current sensor (ACS70331)
The sensor uses an integrated primary low resistance cable through which current flows to detect the magnetic field. The module is compatible with controllers such asArduinoand RaspberryPi.AGrove cableis included for easy connection to the controller. The manufacturer has made available on its website a guide and necessary software how to configure the device, more information can be found under thislink.
The module must not be touched during testing. otherwise there is a danger of electric shock |
Grove current sensor features
- 1 MHz band width with response time < 550 ns
- Low noise level: 8 mA (rms) at 1 MHz
- Resistance of the original cable 1.1 mΩ, which results in low power loss
- High DC PSRR allows use with low accuracy power supplies or batteries (from 3 V to 4.5 V)
- Analogue output
- Support for DC and AC current
