What do I need to run LattePanda?
- MicroUSB power supply- with a current capacity of at least 2 A, e.g.: power suppliesdesigned for Raspberry Pi.
- HDMI cable - toconnect the device to a monitor.
- Mouse and keyboard- to control and enter data into the device.
Initial start-up
Launching LattePanda is very easy to enjoy from your Windows 10 desktop:
- Connect the power supply to a microUSB connector with a capacity of more than 2 A - e.g. the power supplyto Raspberry Pi.
- The LED underneath should light up red.
- Then just hold down the Power button (the first one next to the Ethernet socket) for about 1 s.
- The minicomputer will start up by showing the LattePand logo on the screen.
- All you have to do now is to configure Windows 10 in the same way as you did when you bought your new laptop.
LattePanda also has connectors forDFRobot Gravity modules and sensors.
Operating system
The LattePanda drive is a built-in EMMC memory. The Windows 10 operating system is already installed by the manufacturer. Just run your minicomputer and configure Windows to your needs.
Image and sound
The LattePanda has anHDMI connectionthrough which both video and audio can be transmitted.
In our offer you will also finda 7'' IPS display andtouchpanelforLattePanda.
Powered by .
The system uses the microUSB connector as the power source. The manufacturer recommends that the voltage should be 5 V, while the current capacity should be at least 2.0 A. This condition is met bypower supplies for the Raspberry Pi 3B and 2B mini-computer.

Communication
LattePanda has basic communication interfaces that can be found in PC-class office computers. In addition to the previously mentioned audio and video interfaces, the user can also use them:
- three connectors: USB 2x USB 2.0 + 1x USB 3.0 -which can be used to connect e.g. a mouse, a keyboard or a flash drive. If it turns out that there are too few sockets, you can increase their number usingan external USB HUB.
- Ethernet socket, i.e. the possibility of direct connection to the LAN
- WiFi module- allows communication with the 802.11 b g n wireless network
- Bluetooth 4.0 module- enables data transfer via the popular interface
- GPIO- general purpose outputs/inputs that can be used to operate LEDs, buttons, motor controllers. 20 pins are controlled by Atmega32u4 coprocessor known from ArduinoLeonardoboard.

Compatibility with Arduino
The minicomputer has an additional microcontroller Atmega32u4 - known fromArduino Leonardoboard. This chip controls 20 digital outputs and interfaces for communication with modules and sensors such as: UART, I2C, SPI. In addition, the manufacturer has installed several connectors formodules from the DFRobot Gravity series.
