ASAfilamentingraphitecolor fromFiberlogy. ASA plastic is characterized by highstrength,easy printingandcolorfastness. It is widely used in automotive, electronics, and also during the printing of elements of everyday use. The material does not require a heated chamber to ensure successful printing. ASA can be treated with acetone, so that the printed layers are not visible. The material is suitable for sanding and painting. The mass of material wound on a spool is0.75 kg.

Properties of Fiberlogy ASA filament
- Versatile use thanks to high printing strength
- Used to print sports accessories, interior design elements, as well as car and motorcycle parts
- Resistant to ultraviolet UV radiation
- Compared to other types of felt, ASA does not emit as unpleasant odour as other materials
- It has significantly less shrinkage than ABS, so there is no need to use heated printer working chamber. Increased adhesion prevents the phenomenon of "curling" of the model
- It is characterized by very high color durability
- resistant to high temperatures, even up to 94°C
- Models printed with ASA filament can be smoothed, sanded, painted
Printing Tips
- Printing with ASA filament does not require a closed working chamber
- Suggested airflow rate: up to 25%
- Flowrate value: from 90% to 100%
- Base type: glass,kapton tape
- Retraction settings:
- for Direct type extruders: from 1 to 2 mm
- for Bowden-type extruders: from 4 to 6 mm
- Suggested retraction speed: from 20 to 45 m/s
- When printing in a chamber that is not heated, it is recommended to avoid drafts and sudden gusts of air
