A small step-up/step-down voltage converter module offers a stable 9 V output and the ability to supply a maximum current of 1.5 A. The device can be powered in the range from 1.4 V to 16 V. These types of converters are commonly used in projects where voltage adjustment is necessary, for example when using batteries. The efficiency of the regulator ranges from 80% to 90% , and its ability to supply current depends on the input voltage, ranging from 1 A to 1.5 A. The module is equipped with many protections , such as undervoltage lock, output overvoltage protection and protection against too high voltage and current. Additionally, an over-temperature shutdown function prevents overheating damage, and a soft start function controls the starting current and gradually increases the output voltage during startup.
