WiFi energy meter with 50 A current transformer
Tongou TO-Q-SA1 is a WiFi measuring module with a current transformer. You install it next to the circuit breaker and measure the energy of a circuit up to 50 A. In the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app you will see voltage, current, power and energy consumed, and class 1.0 measurement starts from a current of just 100 mA.
The module has a plate that you clip onto the L pole terminal of the breaker, and a neutral wire for power. The circuit wire passes through the 6.8 mm opening of the current transformer. The meter has no relay: when current, voltage, power or temperature thresholds are exceeded, it sends an alarm, and to disconnect the circuit you can use, for example, the TO-Q-SY2-JWT relay.

Is it the right choice for you?
A good choice if you:

Frequently asked questions
Will the meter disconnect the circuit?
No. The module has no relay, so when a threshold is exceeded it only sends an alarm. To disconnect the circuit, use a relay in an automation.
Which breaker does it work with?
The manufacturer lists the Tongou TOMD6-63 breaker as the matching model. You clip the module's plate onto the L pole terminal of the breaker.
What alarms can I set?
Current alarm from 1 A to 50 A, voltage alarms from 245 V to 295 V and from 145 V to 220 V, power alarm from 5 kW to 12 kW, and a temperature alarm.
