Small size charger from Xtar with PowerBank function and three-stage charging process TC / CC / CV . It can charge two Li-Ion 3.6 V / 3.7 V cells of any capacity with markings 18650 / 18700 / 20700 / 21700 - without protection and 18650 with protection . Xtar PB2S does not significantly increase the temperature of the charged cells during operation, thanks to the use of power from an external source. The built-in numerical display shows the current voltage, charging current and percentage of the battery capacity. The parameters are displayed using the button on the side of the charger. The charger includes a USB type C cable, but no power supply is included . It is recommended to use a power supply with parameters 5 V / 2 A, which is compatible with QC 3.0 or PD 3.0. The charger has a red housing and a modern design. The charging chamber cover is magnetic, so it can be easily removed.

Cells discharged below a certain level are irreversibly damaged and their reactivation may not be possible .

Charging Method TC / CC / CV
The method aims to keep the cell in good condition by charging with the right current at each stage and ending the charging process at the right time. The process is divided into three phases:
- TC phase : cells discharged below 2.9 V are "waked up" using a lower current.
- CC phase : after exceeding 2.9 V, the cell is charged with a constant current of 2 x 2 A / 2 x 1 A / 1 x 2 A.
- CV Phase : after the cell is almost fully charged, the charger switches to charging with a decreasing current until the voltage of 4.2 V is reached. After reaching the voltage of 4.2 V, the charging process is automatically completed.
