Product description: OLED monochrome graphic display 1,12'' 128x128px - STEMMA QT / Qwiic - Adafruit 5297
OLED graphic monochrome display created by Adafruit. The screen has a diagonal of 1,12" and a resolution of 128 x 128 px. It is based on SSD1107 driver chip, which communicates via I2C or SPI. The screen displays only an image, does not have a backlight, so it consumes very little power and has a very high contrast. The display itself is powered by 3.3 V or 12 V, but the logic voltage is 3.3 V or 5 V, thanks to a built-in converter. Easy connection is enabled by STEMMA QT / Qwiic connectors.
Product compatible with Arduino and Raspberry Pi
The manufacturer has prepared a user manual and a library for Arduino. In Adafruit system you can also find an example of connection with Raspberry Pi.
Leads of the OLED display module
The module is equipped with STEMMA QT / QWIIC connectors and holes for soldering standard goldpin pins with 2,54 mm pitch. It uses I2C or SPI interface for communication.
- GND - ground of the chip
- VIN - supply voltage from 3 V to 5 V
- 3Vo - voltage regulator output 3.3 V
- CS - SPI bus Chip Select device selection
- RST - reset of the module
- A0/DC - I2C bus address change / SPI bus data line
- CLK - I2C bus clock line / SPI bus clock line
- Data - SDA I2C bus data line / SPI bus data line
