M5Stamp CAT-M is a communication module from M5Stack , enabling data transfer in Cat-M and NB-IoT standards. Based on the SIM7080G chip, it communicates via the UART interface using AT commands. It offers a fast connection with a maximum speed of 1119 kb/s in the uplink for Cat-M and 150 kb/s for NB-IoT. Supported protocols such as TCP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS, TLS and others enable wide use in various types of data transmission, from simple pings to advanced cloud communication. The module has an IPEX antenna connector with the possibility of connecting an SMA antenna via the included cable. Thanks to the housing resistant to high temperatures (up to 230 ° C) and support for various soldering methods ( SMT, DIP, jumper wires ), M5Stamp CAT-M is distinguished by the flexibility of assembly and integration of the module in various projects, depending on the application needs.
