Description
Photo slider is made of aluminum with a length of about 60 cm for self-assembly. It allows you to record stable shots in the linear motion. The system works with multiple engines, it has the capability of manual control and programming of a sequence of movements using a microcontroller, e.g. an Arduino.
Connection example and test of slider.
Installation
The included bracket allows the installation of several standard motors operating with a voltage in the range from 3 V to 12 V. According to our tests, a good solution is to use a motor with the enconder from the Pololuequipped with 131:1 gearing (available is also a version without the encoder). The high gear ratio ensures steady movement and the encoder allows you to read the situation in which the camera is at the moment.
The above video contains a description of the connection of the slider and the test using the programs forthe Arduino platform. To create a project that was presented at the video, you'll need:
- Actobotics Kit - photo slider
- Arduino Unoorother board compatible with Arduino
- Engine with encoder, such as Pololu 131:1
- The motor's driver, for example: H TB6612FNG bridge
- Thumb Joystick
- Limit switch
- Set of screws, nuts, washers
- Program for Arduino
Set contains no engine, it canbe purchased separately. |
Installation manual of the device.
