What distinguishes Sermoon D3 Pro from the previous version is, among others: a print head with an extruder with two hotends , which allows you to use two materials during one print. An active heater is installed in the printer's working chamber. Sermoon D3 Pro is equipped with a number of functions that significantly affect user comfort, including: HEPA filter, fast print cooling or built-in camera. The printer's working area has dimensions of 290 x 220 x 300 mm , and its entire structure - 553 x 578 x 656 mm.

The device is equipped with an all-metal Direct Drive double extruder with a high flow rate of 32 mm³/s. Dual-material printing is especially useful when the use of supports is necessary. Sermoon D3 Pro works with water-soluble PVA filament. In addition, the dual extruder allows you to print one model with different materials or colors. Two hotends significantly increase the productivity and efficiency of the printer, making it ideal for series production. The device uses a nozzle lifting system that allows you to switch between hotends very quickly. Additionally, the printer automatically calibrates the X, Y and Z axes of the second hotend.

Active chamber heating
Creating the right work environment is of great importance in 3D printing. Controlling the temperature level in the chamber is important, especially when using specialized filaments. Sermoon D3 Pro is equipped with an active heater that creates an ideal printing environment with a constant, warm temperature of approximately 60ºC. This solution makes the model layers strongly bond together, which reduces the number of stresses, deformations and cracks.
Permanent auto-leveling
The strain sensor located in the print head measures the surface of the print bed at many measurement points and then automatically aligns it precisely . Once a measurement is made, it remains effective for a long time.
