The AZO Digital SOL-30ED PWM solar controller has been equipped with an LCD display. It is a kind of converter which is used to control the operation of photovoltaic systems. Its task is to ensure appropriate characteristics of the battery charging current, protecting them against too deep discharge or overcharge. The SOL-30ED regulator supports input voltages of 12 V and 24 V, the maximum charging current is 30 A.

TheAZO Digital SOL-30EDsolar PWM controller has been equipped with an LCD display. It is a kind of inverter, which is used to control the operation ofphotovoltaic systems. Its task is to ensure proper characteristics of thebatterycharging current, protecting them from too deep discharge or overcharge. Solar controllers guarantee that the battery life in the solar panel / battery system will be increased. The SOL-30ED controller supports input voltages of12 V and 24 V,maximum charging current of30 A,supportsgel / AGM batteries. AZO Digital SOL-30ED protects the battery against too deep discharge by disconnecting the energy source once the critical voltage for the battery exceeds11 V. When the battery is fully charged, the regulator disconnects the power supply from the photovoltaic panels when the battery voltage reaches14 V - 14.5 V.

Markings and description of the voltage regulator connectors

  1. Display - informs about current working parameters.
  2. Menu button - responsible for changing the content of the display and, after a long holding (5 s), for switching to the editing mode of the selected parameter.
  3. Load button - on/off switch for the DC load circuit. One short pressing - switching on the circuit, one short pressing - switching off the circuit.
  4. Up arrow button - changing the displayed parameter in the menu and changing a given value in the edit mode.
  5. Down arrow button - changing a displayed parameter in the menu and changing a given value in the edit mode.
  6. Temperature sensor.
  7. PV panel connector - positive and negative poles used to connect the solar panel.
  8. Battery connector - positive and negative terminals used to connect the battery (12 V or 24 V).
  9. Load connector (output) - positive and negative terminals for the connection of the load (12 V or 24 V depending on the connected battery).
