Properties of Fiberlogy ASA filament
- It shows high mechanical strength (it is used to print, among others, electronic casings and sports pads).
- It is resistant to UV radiation.
- In comparison with ABS, it is characterized by low emission of unpleasant smells that appear during printing.
- It shows much smaller shrinkage than ABS, so it does not require heated working chamber of the printer.
- It is characterized by high color durability.
- It is resistant to temperatures up to 94°C.
- Printouts made of ASA can be smoothed and glued with acetone. The finished model can also be sanded and painted.

- Printing with ASA does not require a closed working chamber
- Manufacturer's suggested airflow settings: up to 25%
- Flowrate value: from 90% to 100%
- Substrate type: glass, kapton tape
- Retraction settings:
- for Direct type extruders: from 1 to 2 mm
- for Bowden-type extruders: from 4 to 6 mm
- Suggested retraction speed: from 20 to 45 m/s
- When printing in an unheated chamber, it is recommended to avoid drafts and sudden gusts of air directed at the developing model
- Suggested airflow settings: up to 25%
- Retraction: from 2 mm to 3 mm
