Astorino is an advanced educational robot of Polish production , which was created to provide an appropriate tool for learning programming and simulation of industrial processes for high school students in the profession of robotics technician and students of technical universities in fields such as automation, robotics or mechatronics. The robot arm is 6-axis , which means it has a wide range of motion, and its body is made of PETG filament using 3D printing technology, which allows for easy repair in the event of a failure. Astorino is equipped with a complex control system, software for visualizing the robot's operation with a code editor and a module for operating a two-jaw gripper . It also has an accelerometer that detects collisions and an E-STOP emergency button , ensuring safety during use. The set includes a set of manuals for operating the robot, and a free course for beginners is available on YouTube, which will definitely make it easier to start learning.

6 degrees of freedom of movement

The Astorino educational robot has 6 degrees of freedom, which allows it to move in three spatial dimensions X, Y and Z , allowing it to move along the axes and rotate around them. Can imitate complex movements typical of industrial robotic arms, including accurate positioning, trajectory tracking and object manipulation.

Robot arm drive

Astorino is driven by stepper motors , which enable very accurate control of the position, speed and rotation angle of the robot arm. They are also characterized by reliability and long service life. Using these engines also allows developers and students to develop skills in designing control algorithms.


Printed parts

The robot arm was constructed using 3D printing technology, which allows you to independently print the necessary components and significantly facilitates the repair and replacement of damaged parts. The robot's components are manufactured using PETG filament , which ensures appropriate durability and strength of individual components.
