Description
Dissolved oxygen sensor compatible with Arduino. The module measures the dissolved oxygen content of water to determine its quality. It can be used e.g. in aquariums with fish, too low a dissolved oxygen content in the water makes it difficult for the organisms living in the water to breathe, which results in shortening their lives. The galvanic probe does not require polarization time, it is always available. The module works with any galvanic probe.
Example of connection with Arduino
The board connects to Arduino module via UART interface.
PIN | Description |
---|---|
TX | UART transmitter pin. |
RX | Pin of the UART receiver. |
GND | The weight of the system. |
VCC | Supply voltage from 3.3 V to 5 V |
GNP | Probe cable |
Attention! The solution contains sodium sulfite. Keep personal protective equipment such as gloves and eye protection. In case of contact with skin, wash it with soap and plenty of water, do not inhale fumes. |
Note
- The diaphragm is fragile, avoid sharp objects so as not to damage it.
- Before use, gently stir the solution so that the oxygen is evenly distributed in water.
