Description
Controller of two DC motors supplied with voltage up to 30 V and average current consumption up to 12 A (maximum - momentary up to 40 A). It hasAtmega328Pmicrocontrollerwith Arduino bootloader, so it can be programmed using Arduino IDE environment. The applied FTDI circuit makes it possible to connect Trex with a computer withminiUSB cable.
There is a miniUSB cable on the board:
- Atmega328P microcontroller with Arduino bootloader installed,
- A 3-axis accelerometer that can be used as a collision sensor,
- outputs to connect 6 servos,
- communication interface connectors: I2C, UART, ISP,
- connectors to connect two DC motors,
- power supply connectors to connect an external source,
- miniUSB connector to connect the module to the computer,
- Hall sensors for measuring the current consumed by motors.
The plate is ready to use after taking it out of the package. It contains standard software that allows detection of RC signal. For the module there are also availablesample programs inthe form of Arduino Sketch allowing, among others, control via bluetooth with the use of an additional module andAndroid application orcommunicationusing I2C. Detailed description of T'Rex module can be found in themanual. |
