Description
Mechanical limit sensor is mounted as the bumper that can detect obstacles located in front of the robot. When the whiskers detect the barrier, the sensor will transmit information in the form of a digital signal for the directive microcontroller. Depending on the ideas of the user, the robot can, for example, stop the engines or omit the obstacle.
The product is compatible with Arduino
The device has 3-pin goldpin connector (pitch of 2.54 mm). The details of the connection can be found inthe instruction prepared by the company SparkFun. A sample program is available inthe RedBot library for Arduino. |

Connection
The set consists of a single board, to which mounted must be a proper filament. The sensor's output changes the logic state when the mounted filament will connect with the screw (as shown in the photos inthis article).
Connector is a goldpin strap (2.54 mm pitch) with pins:
