Description: Grove - ring of RGB LED WS2813 x 42 diodes - 59 mm - Seeedstudio 104020171.
The module is equipped with 42individually addressedRGB WS2813LEDsin theform of a ring. One microcontroller pin, e.g. Arduino, is sufficient to operate the module. The LEDs are placed at equal distances on a board with a diameter of 29 mm.
The LED rings can be connected together in a cascade through soldering pads on the board. If several boards are connected together, the signal can be connected to the SIG pin of the Grove connector or to the DIN pin on the board. However, the VCC connector of the Grove interface has insufficient capacity to supply more modules, the VIN connector on the module must be used for supply.
Arduino compatible product The manufacturer has prepared auser guidewith a sample code for Arduino users. |
An example of a cascade connection of LED rings.
Module outputs
The module has been equipped with 4-pin Grove connector, which greatly facilitates connection with the main module e.g. ArduinousingBase Shield overlay.
Main features of the RGB LED ring
- 256 grey levels, 256*256*256=16777216 displayed colours
- Built-in control system in 3535 components
- Supports 3.3 V and 5 V power supply
- Wires with two signals, interrupting one diode does not interrupt the entire module
As long as two or more adjacent LEDs are not damaged, the remaining LEDs will operate normally.
