Product description: Controller for touch displays - 40-pin TFT - RA8875 - Adafruit 1590
The Adafruit controller enables the operation of TFT touch displays with a maximum resolution of 800 x 480 px and a diagonal of up to 7" . It has a built-in efficient RA8875 controller with 768 kB of RAM , which can easily buffer the display and, depending on the screen size, also have double overlapping. The controller uses the SPI bus as the primary communication method for reading and writing registers. The RA8875 controller can also support standard 4-wire resistive touch screens via the same SPI interface. There is an IRQ pin that can be used to manage touch interrupts.
