Description of Odroid C0 - Amlogic S805 Quad-Core 1,5GHz + 1GB RAM
Minicomputer Odroid, version C0 with a powerful processor Amlogic S805quad-core 32-bitARM 7Cortex-A5 1.5 GHz. The board has1GB of DDR3 RAM. It works withUbuntu 14.04andAndroid 4.2. The board is a lighter version of the board Odroid C1+. To reduce the size, we resigned from the installation of USB connectors and GPIO so the size of the module is only 58 x 56 x 11 mm.
Board has a small size, is very thin which allows to use Odroid C0 even in places where free space is not enough.

What it takes to run minicomputera Odroid?
- The microSD memory card or eMMC memory - carrier, on which installed is operating system
- AC adapter:
- Case - protects minicomputer from the influence of external conditions
- HDMI cable - to connect the device to the monitor
- Mouse and keyboard - to control and input data into the device
- Optional accessories- -type of wi-fi module, touch screen display or the SATA module
Operating system
Odroid C0 works with Ubuntu 14.04 and Android 4.2 based on kernel 3.10 LTS. The drive of device, can be a microSD card or a memory Flash eMMC 4.5 HS200 module.

Communication
Odroid has the main communication interfaces, which can be found in office computers of PC class. In addition to the previously listed connectors for audio and video, the user has at his or her disposal:
- HDMIport - transfers the image on the monitor this socket is soldered by the manufacturer.
- USB connectors - the possibility of soldering,to which you can connect, for example, a mouse, a keyboard, a wi-fi card or USB flash drive. If you find that the slots are too short, you can increase their number using an external USB HUB. The kit has no USB connectors, they can be purchased separately.
- 40 pins of GPIO outputs/inputs with general purpose that can be used to control the LEDs, buttons, drivers of motors. Among them are the pins, supportting interfaces: I2C, SPI and UART. You must purchase goldpin straps separately and solder them yourself.
- slot micro SD - slot for microSD memory cards, on which installed can be the operating system.
Odroid is equipped with a microSD and eMMC connectors on the back of the board. Card is not included, it can be purchased separately.
Power
As a power source, the system uses the DC jack connector. The manufacturer recommends that the voltage indicated on the connector had a value of 5.0 V and a minimum output current of the used power supply shall be not less than 2.0 A. At the user's disposal is also a two-pin connector for battery Li-Pol 3.7 V 1S. In our offer, you will finda special adapter.
